		<content type="html"><![CDATA[Whether you prefer the term private labeling, store brands, co-packing,&nbsp; contract manufacturing, or whatever, this blog is about the who, how, and what's happening in the world of customized product development.&nbsp;&nbsp; We call it BOB because typically, customization&nbsp;is ultimately related to the placement of a brand.&nbsp; Thus, Bob is a place on the web to&nbsp;meet and network with&nbsp;companies who&nbsp;manufacture and&nbsp;distribute&nbsp;customizable products across a variety of industry groups.&nbsp;&nbsp; At the same time its a chance for current and potential buyers to explore the world of companies&nbsp;who produce customizable products.&nbsp; <BR><BR>In some industries such as food and beverages it may take the form of exclusive package design, proprietary bottle molding, or the combination of special formulas to&nbsp;create&nbsp;a unique beverage product or brand.&nbsp;&nbsp; In&nbsp;technology, it may be the mixing together of a set of hardware&nbsp;or software components to create&nbsp;specific&nbsp;computer processing capabilities.&nbsp; Bob provides a forum to share knowledge, ask questions, make comments, discuss, argue and generally become more informed.&nbsp; We believe it can be a great place for people or companies who are considering ways to launch a new branded product or gain ideas to strengthen their current brand.&nbsp;&nbsp; Bob is intended to be a blog&nbsp;about&nbsp;people&nbsp;sharing ideas, news and views&nbsp;across the world of creating distinctive&nbsp;brands.&nbsp; Feel free to&nbsp; talk about your business or industry and how and what is customizable.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<BR><BR>Now before you tell us, we know Bob&nbsp;is&nbsp;take a broad stroke view of the customization landscape.&nbsp; But we also know the content is out there and it is only your insights that can add the&nbsp;level of specificity&nbsp;needed to make this blog a genuine resource to others.&nbsp;&nbsp;Although the language or buzz words may differ across industries, add your own thoughts/knowledge.&nbsp; Suggest new categories, new topics, new ideas.&nbsp;&nbsp; When one really thinks about it: everything from watches, to cars, to beverages, to software to toilet paper can be customized!&nbsp; <BR><BR>Lets talk about it: what's involved?&nbsp; What are the issues?
